Opera, the most complete of the performing arts, requires a universe of skills to produce it. Tori Thomas, UNCW graduate and former voice student of Nancy King, is finding her own path into an opera-related career. Here is her recent announcement:
“With great help from Nancy King and Dr. Helena Kopchick Spencer, I was able to attain a highly competitive Summer Internship. It brings me great joy to announce that I have been accepted into the 2025 Metropolitan Opera Summer Internship in the Archives Department!”
Tori arrived in New York City in late May to begin her archival adventure and exploration of all things opera. We are excited for her and await news of her doings.
