Want a crash course in Don Giovanni ahead of seeing it? Slip into Beckwith Recital Hall before our Friday, July 25 performance for a short introduction to Mozart’s masterpiece. Dr. Helena Spencer, UNCW’s opera historian, will delve into the Don Juan legend and its enduring fascination. She’ll also describe Mozart’s – and his librettist’s – take on it.
The short pre-performance tell-all, which is free of charge, starts at 6:15 p.m.; curtain time is 7 p.m.
