Meanwhile, we’re giving you a first look at the cast for our Summer 2025 production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni! Artistic Director Nancy King has assembled a terrific ensemble that will light up the stage. Returning to the Opera Wilmington stage are favorites John Dooley (Die Fledermaus, The Magic Flute) and Elizabeth Stovall Gazda (The Magic Flute, La Traviata). Thando Mamba, who sang the role of Baron Douphol in La Traviata, joins the cast after singing in the Metropolitan Opera’s production of The Life and Times of Malcolm X. We’re also excited to announce several exceptional talents who are new to the Opera Wilmington stage: Maria Valdes, Brian McQueen, Miles Jenkins, Sarah Wells and Garrett Reider, Garrett is a talented singer who’s been nurtured right here in Wilmington, appearing in local music theatre productions.
